About

Geography Education in the Digital World

(Connecting Theory and Practice)

Digitalization has long revolutionized education practices. Shifts in the old-defined education have been proven by the existence of numerous platforms that have led to massive accessibility of knowledge and skill enhancement. As the digital world shapes civilization of new kinds, education practitioners from teachers to lecturers and instructors have to adapt themselves toward technological implementation and uses of digital data. This covers a wide variety of issues, such as shaping digital identity in geographers and geography educators, developing interactive learning via digital spaces, recontextualization of geography curriculum and pedagogical content, and integrative use of geodata and artificial intelligence.

With an agenda covering such issues, attendees are encouraged to present their respective researches and take away a treasure trove of knowledge. This invitation will bring us together to create networks and experiences for better education in the near future.
